As some of you may have heard, I have
resigned from my position as your league organizer. I am
needed elsewhere and will not have the time to devote to the
league as I have done, the past few years. I want you to
know I still care very much about the future of the League
and I am happy with, and confident in, the hands I will turn
the league over to. I will finish out the season with your
Regional Championship, and the Dorney Park awards
presentation, then say my goodbyes.
I wanted to thank you all for allowing
me the privilege to run your events, and trusting the league
completely to me, these past few years. I have taken this
responsibility very seriously and it has been an honor! I
am sad to leave you all, and especially sad to leave the
league. It has truly become a “labor of love” for me. I
take with me a sense of pride and a feeling of
accomplishment. I think I have made many improvements to
the league. I see room for many more improvements still to
come. I feel have built a good foundation and sincerely hope
the League continues to build and improve.
Before I go I would like to leave you
with a few words…
I would like to bring to your
attention, your KSL Officials. The credit for the
successful, and smooth running of these events, should go to
your KSL Officials! Each and everyone of them, comes
faithfully to these events, they know their jobs, take their
jobs seriously, and they do them every event, to the best of
their ability, without hesitation or complaint. Every
month, all I had to do was give them the materials they
needed and walk away. Always knowing and trusting
completely the job was in good hands, and when I got home
they would have everything I needed packed up and ready for
me to report to you. Thank you KSL Officials, these
meets are what they are because of you, and I know I could
not have done them without you!!!
Coaches,
I wanted to say thank you for your
support! Thank you for your love of the sport, your
passion, and your devotion to your teams and your skaters.
You have helped me mold the league into something special
for your skaters. A place for them to bond with others,
improve their skills, a place they can come and feel a sense
of accomplishment, and a place they can feel they are really
a part of something. I know how much you care and believe
in what you are doing. It was a privilege getting to know
and work with you, all! I wish you all much success in the
future!
Skaters, Parents, Families,
Thank you! Your kind words of support,
your emails, phone calls, and even your posts kept me
going. They kept me wanting to make things better for
you. This league is your league! It was built around you
and your needs. It will continue to need your guidance and
your support. Your voice made the league what it is today
and I urge you to continue to voice your wants and needs,
and to show your support, to insure the continued growth of
the League! You are the league, You are the sport, You are
important!!! Thank you all!
Sincerely,
Holly Snow
